Terms of use
Short, because the site is simple. These terms cover your use of xcraftai.com. Consulting work is governed by a separate written agreement, never by this page.

What this site is
xcraftai.com is the public site of xCraft AI, an independent AI consulting practice and content studio operated by Alex Chen in San Diego, California. It describes the practice, publishes a dated log of the work, and gives you a way to get in touch. By using it you agree to these terms.

Information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about how I approach AI for business. It is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice for your situation, and it is not a substitute for it. The practice-area pages describe what I would look at first in a kind of business; they are not an assessment of yours. Decisions about your operation, your data, and your compliance obligations are yours, and a real engagement starts with a written scope for exactly that reason.
// 03
Accuracy and dated records
I keep this site honest and current, and I correct errors when I find them. Lab Log entries are dated records of a build in progress: they say what was true on the day and are not rewritten afterward, so a later entry may supersede an earlier one. Tools, prices, and capabilities in the AI field change quickly; treat any specific claim as accurate as of its date.
// 04
Engagements
Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services, and no engagement exists until a written agreement is signed by both sides. Scope, fees, deliverables, confidentiality, data handling, and intellectual property are set in that agreement, which governs over anything here.
// 05
Content and ownership
The text, structure, and images on this site are © Alex Chen and xCraft AI. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with attribution. Please do not republish pages wholesale or present the content as your own. Vendor names and logos shown on the site belong to their owners and appear only to state which tools the practice uses; no endorsement by them is implied.
// 06
Client pages
Some pages on this site are access-coded and intended for a specific client. They are not public content. If you have been given an access code, it is for you and the people in your organization the engagement names; please do not share it further. If you reach such a page without an access code, there is nothing there for you and nothing to attempt.
// 07
Links to other sites
The site links to a few outside services, such as LinkedIn and a Google Form for intake. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and I do not control them.
// 08
No warranty; limits on liability
The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, I make no warranties about it and am not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
// 09
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If they change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
